Harpie Channeler is a powerful card, and she makes the Harpies archetype viable.

Harpie Channeler
You can discard 1 “Harpie” card; Special Summon 1 “Harpie” monster from your Deck in face-up Defense Position, except “Harpie Channeler”. You can only use this effect of “Harpie Channeler” once per turn. While you control a Dragon-Type monster, this card’s Level becomes 7. This card’s name becomes “Harpie Lady” while it is on the field or in the Graveyard.

Harpie Channeler’s best maneuver is being able to form Rank 7 Xyz monsters easily.
This is accomplished by summoning a Harpie’s Pet Dragon from your deck with Channeler’s effect, which then turns Channeler into a Level 7 monster.
With two Level 7 monsters, making a Rank 7 monster is just a matter of preference. Personally, I either opt for Number 11: Big Eye or Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack.
Of course, this is just one of many combat tricks you can do with Channeler in play. You can always opt to summon another Harpie card to create a Rank 4 Xyz monster instead.
For instance, I can call out a Cyber Harpie Lady with Channeler’s effect.
And then I could Xyz Summon into my favorite Xyz monster in the game: Photon Papilloperative.
The fact that Harpie Channeler counts as a Harpie Lady card on the field and in the graveyard is just the icing on the cake. This trait alone opens up a variety of options.
Overall, Harpie Channeler is a pretty card with beautiful effects for creating combos and board presence.
